We are thrilled to announce that starting Thursday May 15, Manor Dining is adding a series of special seafood delights to our A la Carte offerings. Each day of the week, we will be featuring a succulent appetizer or main course that celebrates the bounty of our oceans.
🗓️ Seasonal Special: Salt Spring Island Mussels – Limited Time Only
Indulge in a local favourite while it lasts! For a limited time, we’re offering a delicious appetizer of Steamed Salt Spring Mussels, prepared with white wine, garlic, and garden-fresh herbs, and served with a warm baguette.
This seasonal special is available only until mid-May, when the ocean temperatures rise and mussel harvesting pauses, so now is the perfect moment to savour this fresh, local dish.
Farm-To-Table Dining on Salt Spring Island
At Manor Dining, we take pride in offering fresh, locally sourced cuisine that celebrates the bounty of Salt Spring Island. A significant portion of our ingredients—including organic produce, free-range poultry, eggs, lamb, and wild-caught fish—is sourced from trusted local farms and producers.
Much of what’s served on your plate is grown right here on our estate. From edible flowers and fragrant herbs to hand-picked fruits and vegetables, our gardens provide seasonal ingredients that are harvested just hours before reaching the kitchen. Everything we grow onsite is non-GMO and free from chemical fertilizers or pesticides, ensuring the highest quality and flavour in every bite.
