The Spa at Hastings House is a tranquil oasis, welcoming guests with an ambiance of calm and well-being. Our practitioners personalize each luxury treatment to the individual needs of our guests, enabling them to emerge revitalized and radiant.
Two treatment rooms with a steam shower to prepare the skin for body treatments. The spa is designed in warm terra cotta and ochre hues, with heated floors and artwork by local artist Jill Campbell.

Trained practitioners specialize in traditional body and foot massage, foot care, body wraps and facials. Decléor products are used for our body and facial treatments, and Gehwol for foot treatments. Guests can also request to have essential oil massages in their suite.

The Hastings House Classic

A timeless ritual, our signature treatment Swedish massage will calm the mind,
soothe the soul and promote circulation, balance and serenity.
Flower petal footbath and exfoliating foot care will prepare you for
this massage, with fragrant herbs and soothing oils.

Sports Massage

Our Deep Tissue Massage is soothing for those experiencing tension in head, neck, shoulders, back and feet—recommended as an excellent revival treatment for travel recovery and jet lag.

Shiatsu Massage

Shiatsu, a traditional Japanese treatment that promotes deep emotional and physical relaxation, uses the principles of acupressure, as well as stretching and joint rotation, to work on the meridians of the body. Clients should come in comfortable clothing.

Hot Stone Massage

Locally gathered ocean stones are placed on key energy centers of the body to recharge and restore the body’s strength. The combination of massage and warm stone therapy is deeply restorative, and has both sedative and re-energizing effects. Cool marble stones enhance circulation.

Pressure points on the feet and lower legs re-establish the flow of energy throughout the body. This highly specialized foot massage helps to relieve stress and tension.

COUPLES MASSAGE TRAINING

Learn to give nurturing touch to your partner.

Couples will learn to do a complete, stress-reducing, relaxation massage. Training will include instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. You will learn how to prepare for the massage, proper draping techniques, and basic Swedish massage strokes: effleurage, petrissage, friction and tapotement. This private session provides the couple with an opportunity to communicate their needs and desires, to compare touch and technique with that of a professional, and gain insight into body mechanics to avoid fatigue and injury. Complete the experience with a glass of champagne and a rose petal bath in your room.
Minimum 2 week advance booking required.
2.5 hours ~ $500

PERSONALIZED TREATMENT

Take advantage of your own personal health professional with a fully customized, two-hour treatment in your suite. This package includes a consultation on your specific health issues, breath work, a personalized stretching routine, a massage, followed by nourishing tea with your practitioner while you discuss your customized health and well-being program. You will learn mindful breath techniques and strategies to calm the mind, build immunity, promote circulation, enhance your state of serenity, relieve tight muscles, and replenish your energy.

Gehwol’s natural foot care product line is formulated to preserve and maintain the well-being of the feet. These products contain high concentrations of essential oils of pine; rosemary, and lavender to stimulate, disinfect, deodorize, relax and soothe.. Established in 1868, Gehwol in German means “walk well.”

We offer a full range of Decléor and Gehwol products, so that you may extend the benefits gained during your Spa experience. Ask your therapist to recommend the right products to help you achieve the results you desire.

Courtesies and Cancellations

As a courtesy to others, and to ensure your treatment is complete and relaxed,
please arrive 5 minutes early. A wrap or robe and appropriate footwear will be available for you to change into on arrival. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, it may be necessary to modify your treatment to fit the time available.

A 24 hour cancellation notice is required. Late cancellations and missed appointments
will require 100% of your reserved treatment to be charged.

*24 hours notice of cancellation is required on spa treatments. A charge of 50% will be charged unless treatments have been rebooked.
